SING WITH US EVERY WEDNESDAY AT TANDEM BAR!

Starting this Wednesday you can open up the best Kwanzaa gift you ever wished for: our karaoke catalog!

How can we say this? At our last venue, your karaoke wailing was so passionate, so boisterous, so soul-bearingly epic that the neighbors rang ten times to tell us to keep our karaoke excitement in our pants. Oops. Honestly though, karaoke is not an art sung in half-measures. Don't you agree?

Each and every Wednesday night you'll be able to carol your little hearts out where we feel most at home - IN THE BACK ROOM! And really, what better way is there for a Microphista to usher out a glottis-drying even numbered year?

Songbirds new and old are cordially invited to come shake us to the core with their vibrato or just observe the shimmering glory of those all those who dare to show off their chords behind the silvery mesh. As Shonelle sings in her 2010 hit single Impossible (now available in our catalog), "Shout it from the rooftops!"

Art In General Blow Out & The World Premiere of TELL IT TO MY PRETTY FACE

We blew the roof off Art In General's 3rd Annual Saturday Night Party, which wasn't easy with subterranean brick vaulted ceilings in a club that was once known as the MAN HOLE in the 1970's. The former den of hot, horny naked Bears swinging appendages to Diana Ross saw new life with 200 hungry fans packed like meat into the the Meat Packing District's brand new Bunker Club.

Many thanks to the folks at Art In General for giving us the opportunity to host their very important fundraiser this year. We are two octaves closer to establishing KARAOKE as the hottest new art-craze in New York City. Special thanks to our special guests and karaoke pioneers Ben Coonley who premiered a hand-raising video for Taio Cruz's Dynamite, June Fagley who rocked two diva classics, Baby Mama (aka Jeanine Oleson) who selflessly re-lived the birth of our former baby with Hold On, and Michael O'Niel who brought us into A Whole New World with a video animated by Danny Balgley!

Extra special thanks to KINHO KARSYN, the brilliant cartoonista from Brazil who animated our latest video - and to AVA OMEGA JARDEN who tirelessly produced the brilliant track! Without further ado, the internet premiere of TELL IT TO MY PRETTY FACE:

The entire event was photographed by Julian Mackler Studios, the entire album can be seen here.

NEW SOUND PORNAOKE. APRIL 10.

Dear Karaoke Krazy Hearts,

You may have been wondering, where has your blissfully married duo gone off to? We must come clean.

After Baby left, Bobby hit the Apple Pucker Scnapps hard and found himself passed out naked under a urinal at Pumps Gentlemen's Club in Bushwick. Waterfall went straight to the Foxwoods Casino with our karaoke spoils only to be forcibly removed from the pinochle table for wagering her clothing instead of casino chips. That's called ROCK BOTTOM.

We can't deny the black hole we've been sucked into. We know how hopeless it is to fight the darkness with the light. A quick trill and a spin around the rosary won't deliver us from the evil in our hearts. We have come to feel the painful sting of marriage and it's burns like the glowing embers of a Newport Light as it kisses the porcelain smooth flesh of our Domino's Pizza boy.

Yes, Black Waterfall and Bobby Service have allowed themselves to be seduced and perverted by the caress of leather as is clings to our skin - singing its rapturous anthem while lashing out furiously against raw, supple flesh. Our muscles glistening, moist and hard beneath the leathery surface as we raise our cat o' nine tails in the ultimate release. Karaoke S&M.

We ask you to embrace your hot center and let the sizzling flow rush forth as jungle tom-toms strike your vocal cords into an erotic explosion, unparalleled. Red lights are flashing on and off at fever pitch. We are bursting forth on our hirsute quest for hardcore karaoke satisfaction. In and out, we have bent the art karaoke over the kitchen table and plunged the strict, stiff code of Waterfall-Service deep within - in one glorious, victorious, smoldering eruption.

No babies this time, only the blistering rush of SATISFACTION.

On April 10. Invite Only.

Get a Brazilian at the Alligator Lounge???

Dear Weekly Karaoke Fanatics,

After months of vocal-crunching and room-busting Karaoke nights at the Alligator Lounge, we must announce that we are moving our weekly sing-a-thon to a new location in Williamsburg.

Strangely, the Alligator Lounge has decided to become a full-service Bikini Wax and Tanning Salon, and UNISEX at that! Even more strangely, they will continue to serve FREE PIZZA with each leg (or "side") waxed. Strangest of all, it will still be called the Alligator Lounge. We are simply without words!
Furthermore, Waterfall and I were asked to transform our Thursday night Karaoke slot into live music-therapy for those undergoing the painful wax process, because free cheese-wiz pizza just isn't enough to numb the pain. However, just like Conan O'Brien, we must stand our ground! Simply put, singing a rousing rendition of "Fire Down Below" during a European is not our idea of a KARAOKE night!

Fear not, we already have something more glamorous in the works. Our Karaoke Love Machine will be fired up well before Avatar wins the Pulitzer prize! We wish Alligator many a happy wax in 2010! Feel free to mention the coupon above. In the meantime, do your lip trills or at least have them waxed.

We see you,
Ms. Waterfall and Mr. Service.

Putting Back The Spark!

Every once in awhile at the New Sound we notice that our intimate karaoke relationship isn't exactly where we hoped it would be. Sometimes it feels like the romance has faded away. Lately our vocals have been flat, strained, or off-key. Or we've felt simply too tired to even do our trills together! After trying a number of strategies including candle wax, sexy outfits, and strip checkers, we realized it was time to get back to basics.

You see, karaoke is not just something to do every couple of weeks to show your singing partner that you love them. It is a state of mind, which permeates everything that you do, and shows how you feel about your partner and life. With that in mind, here at the New Sound we having been preparing in our karaoke condo to bring you an erotic evening of video Pornoake guaranteed blow your barn doors off!

Think of it, the soft glow of the projector, romantic music, and a steady stream of steamy visuals building to a climactic crescendo of open-throated karaoke vocals! Stay tuned for more information and tips on how to make your karaoke last longer!

-Love Black Waterfall & Bobby Service
