After months of vocal-crunching and room-busting Karaoke nights at the Alligator Lounge, we must announce that we are moving our weekly sing-a-thon to a new location in Williamsburg.
Strangely, the Alligator Lounge has decided to become a full-service Bikini Wax and Tanning Salon, and UNISEX at that! Even more strangely, they will continue to serve FREE PIZZA with each leg (or "side") waxed. Strangest of all, it will still be called the Alligator Lounge. We are simply without words!
Furthermore, Waterfall and I were asked to transform our Thursday night Karaoke slot into live music-therapy for those undergoing the painful wax process, because free cheese-wiz pizza just isn't enough to numb the pain. However, just like Conan O'Brien, we must stand our ground! Simply put, singing a rousing rendition of "Fire Down Below" during a European is not our idea of a KARAOKE night!Fear not, we already have something more glamorous in the works. Our Karaoke Love Machine will be fired up well before Avatar wins the Pulitzer prize! We wish Alligator many a happy wax in 2010! Feel free to mention the coupon above. In the meantime, do your lip trills or at least have them waxed.
